Tango Class Reviews

  • Daniel teaches tango, the concept, the embrace, musicality. He teaches in a way that will enable you to advance in your tango journey. He knows both the lead and the follow and can help bring your dance to a higher level. He is indeed a maestro de tango. His tango classes are enjoyable and inspiring. Very personable with a good sense of humor!!

  • I have taken tango classes with Daniel Arias for two years now after 8 years of classes in many cities. I have finally found an instructor who teaches one how to dance tango, how to develop one’s own dance, how to understand the music and apply the steps to it, and how tango technique informs the quality of one’s movements. He teaches Argentine tango in its musical and social cultural context. Not.just.tango.steps!

  • Daniel is an excellent teacher. His focus is on traditional, close embrace tango danced in confined spaces – the real social tango. New or inexperienced dancers – start off right with a firm tango grounding. Mature dancers – eliminate bad habits, cultivate sensitivity to your partner, and improve your floor craft and tango protocol.

  • Daniel Arias is a wonderful Argentine tango instructor. his classes are informative and detailed. he teaches Argentine tango milonguero style wich is the style danced at traditional milongas in Buenos Aires.
His emphasis is on musicality and connection and tango dancing in reduced spaces. Highly recommended.
